Mendelssohn's Elijah
Patrick will conduct an historic performance of Mendelssohn's great oratorio, Elijah.in Birmingham Town Hall on April 13th 2008. BFCS return to their spiritual home and the scene of many famous performances to recreate the first performance of Mendelssohn's masterpiece accompanied by the English Haydn Orchestra playing on authentic instruments of the period. Bach's St. John Passion
Patrick has been appointed Music Director and Conductor of the Montgomery Music Festival Chorus for their performance of Bach's St. John Passion on May 10th 2008. (see Diary for details)
Ludlow Choral Society
The 2008/2009 concert season celebrates the 150th anniversary of Ludlow Choral Society. Patrick is composing a new work for choir, orchestra, soloists and children's chorus which will be performed in June 2009 and other major works include Bach.s Mass in B minor and Handel's Messiah.
